The Role: Graphic Designer As a Graphic Designer at Poppy & Peonies, you’ll be responsible for visually bringing the brand to life across various platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of creative tasks, from designing product imagery and lifestyle graphics to creating dynamic motion designs for social media campaigns. Your work will play a key role in how customers experience the Poppy & Peonies brand online.
What You’ll Do:
- Design compelling visuals for Poppy & Peonies’ website and e-commerce channels, creating an engaging and cohesive customer experience.
- Develop engaging social media content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and email campaigns, using static images and motion graphics.
- Create lifestyle imagery, product photos, and flat-lays that tell a story and align with the Poppy & Peonies brand aesthetic.
- Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to brainstorm and execute innovative campaigns.
- Work with the design team to create custom prints and packaging that complement our brand identity.
- Stay up-to-date on graphic design trends and implement new tools, techniques, and best practices to keep our visual content fresh.
Who You Are:
- Proven graphic design experience with a portfolio showcasing both static and motion graphics, especially for e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.) or similar tools.
- Social media savvy, with an understanding of design requirements for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
- Creative with a strong sense of brand identity and the ability to translate it into engaging visuals.
- Bonus: Photography and videography experience is a plus but not required.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in brainstorming sessions and loves pushing creative boundaries.
The Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $65,000 – $75,000 CAD annually.
